Devonian Reefs of Morocco
Collecting brachiopods from the Devonian Period from the Middle Atlas Mountains and Anti-Atlas/Sahara Desert of Morocco. Huge Goniatites, seep brachiopods, beautifully preserved stromatoproids, and Rugose corals!

Carboniferous Brachiopods of Arrow Canyon, Nevada and the Northern flank of Roberts Mountain
Collecting brachiopods from the Middle-Late Mississippian to the Late Pennsylvanian from Arrow Canyon. We also got stuck in a cave on the Northern flank of Roberts Mountain during a lightning storm (May 2023).

Cretaceous of Utah
Prospecting for Cretaceous dinosaur fossils, and paleosols in the picturesque landscape of Escalante and Green River Utah to reconstruct the terrestrial paleoenvironment and paleoclimate of the Western Interior Seaway. Additionally sampling of modern cold spring carbonates for a study aiming to understand the evolution of novel carbonate secreting bacteria in such systems. (June 2021)
